Your first visit to a new dental office can be scary and confusing. Our goal is to
reduce the anxiety of your first visit by helping you become familiar with the
process of your initial visit. (If you require the use of a wheel chair ramp, please call in
advance and let us know; we will have it in place for your appointment.)
When you arrive, look for our entrance (pictured to the right). When facing the
front building of the Farmington Boulevard Office Park, we are the last 2 suites on the right
Emily, our Appointment Coordinator, will greet you with a
smile, assist you in signing in, and help you complete
your New Patient Registration. If you would like to get a
head start, you can complete our New Patient Registration
Forms and bring them with you. Click here for the forms. (We ask that all new patients arrive 15 minutes, 10 minutes if
you have previously printed off and completed your forms, before your first appointment so that we can get all of the
information entered into our system and ready for your appointment. Once Emily has signed you in, she will ask you to
take a seat in our spacious waiting room (pictured at the bottom) while we finish the preparation for your appointment;
there you can check out our bobble heads, review a few informational brochures, or simply read a magazine.
If your appointment is for a cleaning or a check-up, one of our hygienists will be greeting you shortly and bring you back to her room. There, they will seat you and make sure you are comfortable. They will explain the process of your appointment and will answer any questions you may have. After they have performed your prophylaxis (cleaning), Dr. Pulido will greet you and check to make sure everything is in good order with your tissues, teeth, gums, and oral cavity. If your appointment is for something other than a cleaning or a check-up, one of our assistants will greet you and bring you back to your appointment room. There, they will seat you and make sure you are comfortable. They will confirm the reason for the appointment and briefly explain the process of your appointment and will answer any questions you may have. Dr. Pulido (Pictured to the right) will arrive to your room and introduce himself. He will go over your procedures with you and answer any questions you may have. If you are in agreement, he will then preform the procedures. After Dr. Pulido has performed your procedures, he will make sure everything is in good order and you do not have any questions. Then, he will walk you to our check-out area and introduce you to Aaron (pictured to the left), our financial coordinator. Aaron will go over your balance, file your insurance claim, process any payments, and will schedule your next appointment (if necessary). Our goal is to make not only your first visit, but every visit as comfortable and painless as possible. If there is something you feel we can do to better achieve this goal, please let us know.
